Started off the week by buying Prototype, only to be so badly hooked, its like my 5 year fangirl crisis over the Jak series all over again. I will not deny it, I've got the complete hots for alex mercer D:<!

Okay, well, so yeah its not really Alex's fault that he's so damn hot, I blame the concept artist.

POINT ASIDE *AHEM*, I bought a new 9800 in an attempt to bridge the graphics gap between 2 options: an old 6600, or just take out a loan with my bank*Ahemparents* to purchase a brand new card. I'm in a cash crunch atm (not bad, just my fault) because I put alot of money down on some furniture (almost done paying it off too, TAKE THAT SOCIETY), and I blew alot at akon, leaving me no security net.

Installed drivers for the new 9800. No idea why, but the master boot drive went BALLISTIC. absolutely ballistic. THought we fried my power supply so we got a new one of those too. and when i tried to reboot, c drive wouldnt turn over.

SO I had to back up my shit (Hopefully my prototype save files too, because I was on the last mission D:<! WHYYYYY), all my pictures, sl textures, ect are safe. I recovered all those, thankfully. might of lost a music file or two but once I realise they're missing, they'll be replaced quickly *ahemyoutubeaudacity*

EDITTT: THANK GOD MOST GAMES SAVE THEIR 'SAVE GAME' FILES TO THE DOCUMENTS FOLDER.

Since my documents is usually where I saved about 90% of my misc shit anyways, I backed up that entire folder AND RECOVERED MY SAVE FILE ON PROTOTYPE< which means no having to deal with replaying the entire fucking game D:<! that woulda made me mmmmmadddddd and even more demoralised than I ahve been with these internet and computer issues. good thing though, I'm gettin my art mojo back(even if it means drawing a hot viral freak of nature drenched in the blood of his victims then proceeding to look sexier than mr universe himself :> haha its art though, Riiiiight?)
