Thel are(contrary to popular belief) NOT demons. They're far from it, in fact. Chimaeric in nature, they know what it means to have a wide range of diversity and as such, have learned to overcome the boundries caused by it. They're commonly helpful, caring toward others of their own, and other species. They wish for nothing more than to live a peaceful existance. They rarely make trouble with others, except when resources are at stake and their Prides are at risk of starvation.

A thel villiage is typically called a Pride, and can consist from around 75 to upwards of 800 Thel. Thel offspring are typically called hatchlings, as they are born from eggs. A mother thel usually lays 1-2 eggs per clutch, but as many as 5 have been recorded. Thel, despite being from the same litter, do not count as twins. There is enough genetic diversity that each hatchling is born unique.Thel twins(triplets, quadruplets and so forth) ARE possible, but not common.

But for now, a quick synopsis of the Alpha:

Alpha males are the primary leaders of any pride in Thel society. They govern the land, make decisions, and keep operations moving smoothly to ensure the continuity of the species. Alpha males, however, are not born into alphahood as they would be from wolves or the like.
Alpha males must earn their rank. When they hit the age of maturity(13 in Thel years, but around 90 human years), they undergo a Rite of Passage.

All Alpha thel, male and female, have the thick protective manes around their necks. Their bodies are also typically adorned in thick plating, varying in shape from thel to thel.

there's a fuckton more i could say about thel, but im pressed for time and i've always had a hard time compressing my thoughts about the thel into a few coherent paragraphs so i wouldnt be constantly jumping around. I suppose i should put those skills from highschool to use. make a flow chart. what a concept!

YES YOU CAN MAKE A THEL CHARACTER. Please do not make alphas though. at least, not without asking me. I dont mind you roleplaying as a thel. I do however, mind yu roleplaying an alpha thel out of character. alpha thel occur only in limited quantities. The RIte of Passage is a difficult process to alphahood so not every thel makes it.
