Description

The pace has been slow and steady, but I'm finally done with all of the modelling and HD sculpting. The character in general is often drawn as a sort of Alien-ish Jackal creature that has what i'm guessing is leather like skin. I wanted to convey that look without making his entire body look like hardened leather. I wanted to make some of the more sensitive areas look like they were a bit more flexible with a bit of stretch and sag in the skin. I think the effect came through nicely.

That looks pretty much perfect! You do have the right idea about the skin....I imagine it as leathery and supple....thick but still very flexible. Not at all hardened. So the stretches and sags and wrinkles areas around the vulnerable joints looks just like what I had in mind.
